How will we support elective home education?

During our free initial consultation we will agree times for sessions, content to be taught and any supporting / follow up learning that you may wish your child to engage with. Following on from our initial conversation I will develop a complete learning curriculum which will be shared with you for comment, once agreed this will provide the weekly focus for all areas of learning.

How will I know whether my child is making progress?

Monthly, detailed progress reports will be provided - these will contain progress against the agreed areas of focus along with comments on attitude to learning, suggestions for next steps for learning and overall progression. These are suitable to be included in your annual local authority report.

How flexible can you be with sessions?

Your agreed weekly session times are protected for the duration of the tutoring. Should we need to agree any changes (for example illness) the session can be rebooked at a mutually convenient time. This will be as soon as possible to make sure that learning progress is not unduly interrupted.

What other services can you offer?

I am able to support you when writing the initial learning outline for your local authority report and provide regular updates. I can also suggest how best to cater for all areas of learning outside of our agreed sessions and can put you in touch with other organisations who may be able to support you and your child with any identified broader educational outcomes. (arts / music / physical development etc).

Affordable Rates

The hourly rate is negotiable if repeated bookings are made in advance.
